The local advantage
Nobody ever got the boot right off a size chart.
Snowboard boots feel more forgiving than ski boots, which fools people into thinking fit matters less. It doesn’t. Too much room means heel lift, less edge control and feet working harder than they should — and because liners pack out, a boot that starts roomy only gets roomier.
We fit them here, on your feet, with the same footbeds and the same attention we give a ski boot — because it’s the same problem: movement inside the boot is what causes trouble. When your feet are happy, you stop thinking about your boots and start thinking about your next run.
Boot fitting
Start at your feet.
Cold, sore or sliding feet end a day faster than weather does. So we size you properly, match the boot to the shape of your foot, and build in a supportive footbed — the same footbed technology carries straight over from skiing, and it does the same job here.
- 01Start snug. Liners loosen and settle as you ride, so we look for a secure fit from day one — without the painful pressure points.
- 02Match the shape. Wide feet, narrow feet, high insteps — different boots are built on different lasts.
- 03Lock in the heel. The right size and a supportive footbed keep your heel where it belongs, so your edges do what you ask.
- 04Dial it in. If something changes once you start riding, bring them back — buy them here and the fit support doesn’t expire.
We carry lace, BOA and Step On — and the right answer depends on your feet and your patience in a cold parking lot, not on what’s newest.

Before we hand you a board we’ll ask where you ride, what you’re on now, what you like about it and what you wish it did better. Those answers matter more than whichever spec has the biggest number.
Tuning & service
A fresh base is a different board.
Waxing, sharpening, stone grinding, base welding, epoxy work, edge repair and replacement — the same bench and the same two stone grinders that handle the ski side. A flat, freshly ground base takes the least effort to turn, and most boards leave the factory flatter in theory than in fact.
We also mount and adjust bindings, heat-mold liners, repair boots and build custom footbeds. Quick turnaround — though it stretches as Christmas gets closer, so don’t leave it until the week before a trip.

Seasonal & daily rentals
Rent for a season if you’re growing or just starting out.
Rent a board, bindings and boots for the whole winter and bring the lot back by the end of May. Pricing scales with size, so younger riders cost less — and if a growth spurt wrecks the fit in January, bring it in and we’ll swap it.

Waterproof when it’s dumping. Breathable when you’re working. Room to move without feeling like you’re wearing a sleeping bag. We stock snowboard outerwear for the way riders actually wear it — on the mountain and everywhere after.
Burton, 686, Roxy and Volcom on the snowboard side — plus merino base layers and socks, which keep insulating even once they’re damp. That matters more on a chairlift than anywhere else.
The clearance rack
Always worth a dig.
There’s always a rack going — end-of-run outerwear, last season’s stock, odd sizes that never found their rider. It turns over constantly, so what’s on it today usually isn’t there next month.
It’s not online and it never will be. Stop in and dig, or call ahead and we’ll take a look.
